As a business analyst you will complete tasks associated with the following business management activities, including but not limited to, human capital, budget formulation, financial management, contracts management, administrative services and communications to internal and external stakeholders.  Support budget processes to include tracking expenditures to ensure the divisions do not exceed their budgets.  Monitor the funding assigned to the division. Represent and track financial data to be accountable for tracking funds and financial reconciliations. Conduct research, analyze, audit, and interpret budget reports.  Coordinate with contracting officers, program managers, and contracting officer’s representatives/invoice approvers to assist with resolving problems such as correcting invoices and payment problems. Processing & monitoring training, and reconciling expenditures for employees’ training. Coordinate administrative and operational support services for managers and serve as a resource of information for staff regarding administrative processes.  Coordinate human resources actions and provide support by tracking open vacancies and on-boarding information.  Provide ad hoc reports associated with multiple systems and compile the information for further review.  Coordinate logistics such as meeting planning. Recommend process improvements for every day operating procedures.  Assist with financial reporting. Provide support to staff on complex problems relating to business operations. Compile data and/or information from current and future management systems, source documents, and physical files.



You must have a minimum of two (2) years of business Analyst experience.  Must be proficient in various types of IT resources such as Microsoft Office Suite products. Working knowledge of business operations and the various functional areas such as human resources, budget and financial, contract management, ad hoc reporting, purchasing, customer service, process improvements, business relationship management and basic project management.


You must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.

Primary work location will be located in Washington, DC.  Other locations may include locations throughout the Greater Washington, DC region, on an as-needed basis.

9-6 M-F, however, as work requirements dictate, such as for overtime, major business events, prime season for business pursuits and ad hoc mission requirements, the work schedule may deviate
