Engagement Manager

Successful consulting company is looking for a candidate that has significant experience in management consulting (or other similar professional services industries), expertise in healthcare, and substantial project management and people management experience.

Their engagement managers combine business knowledge, project management capabilities, and a focus on people. Because this company is a growing, entrepreneurial organization, engagement managers are integral to business development and in creating new approaches for the firm.

Engagement managers are responsible for overseeing all services provided to a client, and lead all aspects of the project life cycle: Diagnosing client needs, developing proposals and business opportunities, managing project teams, and leveraging the knowledge and creativity of colleagues to generate solutions. They ensure that the final product is of the highest quality and meets or exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage program operations involving multiple projects or task orders.

- Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and execution of all program support activities.

- Manage resource, cost, schedule, and quality of multiple projects, and ensures contractual obligations are met.

- Recruit, train, and evaluate employees.

- Provide guidance and direction to subordinates; assign, schedule, and review their work; and communicate policies and goals of the organization to them.

- Develop and cultivate government client relationships at management and executive levels.

Requirements

- Superior written and oral communications skills.

- Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred.

- 10 years of project-related business experience.

- Expertise in healthcare.

Compensation

This company is dedicated to improving health care programs through health information management, technology and program management, and strategic communications services.

They offer a competitive salary of $150,000 to $175,000, an excellent benefits package and opportunities for advancement.
