As a full-time Permanent employee, you will primarily be responsible as the executive assistant to support two very busy, forward thinking former military executives.

You will primarily assist the Chief Executive Officer and/or the Chief Operating Officer in all daily administrative activities including tracking the assigned tasks for various team members.  Provide administrative support for other members of the firm as it relates to successful completion of daily operations.  Accurately and completely process and prepare all documents including providing quality assurance review of correspondence and work products ensuring they are free of errors, and in compliance with the official style and formatting requirements. Provide organized and prepared agendas well in advance of meetings or as specified by the supervisor. Provide assistance with organized, well-designed briefs or slides for the CEO & COO. Update and maintain calendars and monitor firm’s email accounts (Outlook); schedule appointments, provide direct management and support. Develop, compile and organize communications to/from the CEO/COO, including e-mail, telephone messages, and meeting schedules.  Initiate meeting set-up (scheduling rooms, materials, etc.) on behalf of the Chief of Staff and take meeting minutes when requested.  Coordinate off site meetings, departmental and related business development events.  Arrange travel and prepare expense reports for firm’s employees and consultants. Review expense reports to comply with mandated travel policies prior to signature. Produce accurate and professional correspondence and presentations for internal and external use. Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications.  Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups.  Faxing, filing, copying, shredding, compiling documents, and other duties as required


You must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communications skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills.  You must be detail oriented and highly organized.  Must be a master at multitasking and handling changing priorities.  Able to manage under stress with minimal supervision.  Strong overall computer skills, both in software applications (Microsoft Office applications, and others as required) and above all be an anticipatory thinker

Primary work location will be located in Fairfax, VA.   Other locations may include locations throughout the Greater Washington, DC region, on an as-needed basis.

Travel will be required on occasion to locations throughout the United States and overseas.  The candidate must ensure that they possess a current passport and related TSA credentials for travel.

9-6 M-F, however, as work requirements dictate, such as for business travel, major business events, prime season for business pursuits and ad hoc mission requirements, the work schedule may deviate
