As a full-time Permanent employee, you will primarily be responsible as the Fiscal Operations Analyst/HR Liaison for overseeing all financial records and budgets for the organization. This position operates using broad authority and works as part of the fiscal operations team.

 

 

You will prepare and process monthly journal entries, bi monthly payroll, accounts receivables and accounts payable.  Manage financial reporting and processing government contract invoices on all FFP, CPFF, GSA and Time and Materials contracts.  Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports.  Prepare monthly sales tax and annual BPOL Tax Schedules.  Responsible for leading and monitoring company audits and certifications.  Responsible for payment to all 1099 consultants.  Managing company cash flow and balance sheets through QuickBooks.  Monitor financial accounts, redistributing resources when appropriate.  Prepare departmental budgets.  Develop, implement, and manage procedures and controls related to fiscal issues.  Maintain records and reports for reconciling expenses and revenue.  Assist, execute, and manage administrative projects and responsibilities as needed.  Provide training and oversight to employees and consultants as needed.  Develop and implement strategic financial planning reports and recommendations.  Represent the organization within the industry and with customers on items relevant to financial and/or operations matters.

 

Please have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.  a minimum of five (5) years of related experience as an accountant, financial analyst, manager, accounting coordinator.

 

 

You must be a QuickBooks expert and you will be tested before an interview.  Please have advanced levels of expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks, General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable.

 

Knowledge of government contract policy and procedures such as DCAA, GAAP, WAWF, T&M and FFP are highly desired as well

A VETERAN IS STRONGLY PREFERRED

Primary work location will be located in Fairfax, VA.   Other locations may include locations throughout the Greater Washington, DC region, on an as-needed basis.

Travel will be required on occasion to locations throughout the United States and overseas.  The candidate must ensure that they possess a current passport and related TSA credentials for travel.

8-5 (40 hour work week) exempt, no overtime, however as work requirements dictate, such as for business travel, major business events, prime season for business pursuits and ad hoc mission requirements, the work schedule may deviate
