Human Resources Manager

One of Washington DC's fastest growing Healthcare information management consulting firms seeks a Human Resources manager to guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the firm. The major responsibilities of the position include:

  • Develop and update annually the company's Affirmative Action Plan
  • Ensure employment and compliance data is collected & submitted to regulatory concerns
  • Ensuring compliance and self-identification data is collected during recruiting process for all positions within the firm
  • Administer employee benefits including working with vendors
  • Develop and roll out employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training
  • Maintain and update employee manual including policy development and documentation.
  • Develop and distribute company-wide communications
  • Oversee performance management program
  • Ensure employee relations issues are handled consistently and in a timely fashion
  • Validate compensation program annually
  • Act as liaison between employee, management, and other employees of the firm for all Human Resource issues
  • Responsible for working with individual employees to develop professional development programs, implementing, and monitoring the results of such programs
  • Oversee employee safety, welfare, wellness and health

The Human Resources manager is responsible for leading the Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of the workforce. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the firm's business goals.

The Human Resources manager coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; reports to the COO; and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.

Please have 3-5 years of HR Generalist, Manager, supervisor, coordinator and/or director experience in a FEDERAL/Government Contracting operation. A bachelors and certifications are required. $50,000 - $60,000 and flexible hours. The firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and opportunities for advancement. EOE.
