Our client, a leading international law firm located near metro in DC, seeks a Legal Secretary to work with their premier Private Client (Wills Trusts & Estate Planning) practice group.  This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic practice.

You will:

Provide legal and non-legal administrative support to attorneys, paralegals and clients; Prepare documents, presentations, forms, spreadsheets; Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy; Coordinate meetings including Videoconferences, Conferences calls, Equipment, Catering, Presentation Materials, Visitors, Rooms/Offices; Manage contacts and calendar Manage attorneys’ phones including incoming calls, messaging, transfers and conference calls Schedule travel, coordinate itineraries, and process related expenses; Process expense reports, check requests and business development activity; Performs GL coding; Working with assigned billing specialist prepares invoices, create cover letter, copy, and mail invoices; Enter and release time for timekeepers and print reports as requested; Process the intake of new clients, create and manage paper/electronic client files, search and print reports; Attend training, as needed, to stay proficient with all Firm software and processes

 

Job Requirements:
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Document Management and time entry systems; Experience with client billing; Strong attention to detail Professional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal; Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills; Self-motivated and able to effectively utilize time and resources; Client service/customer satisfaction oriented

Qualifications Desired: DC Notary strongly preferred Trust & Estates experience preferred Bachelor degree Secretary Certification

$55,000 – $70,000 with a 37.5 hour work week and great benefits
