Salesforce Configurator and Trainer

This three-time Inc. 500 award winning company looking for extraordinary technical, management, and subject matter experts to help continue to build a great company.  They are a Service-disabled, Veteran-owned Small Business professional services firm founded in December 2009.  They offer management consulting and information technology services across a wide spectrum of Federal Agencies.  They are based out of Fairfax County, Virginia and work in the National Capital Region and beyond.

 

 Salesforce Configurator and Trainer key roles and responsibilities include:


Develop user stories in JIRA and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions for our clients; Work collaboratively with team members to design a solution in Salesforce that will meet a client’s business requirements and fulfill user stories; Complete the configuration for user stories within Salesforce, AppExchange products, or other cloud-based technologies; Update design documentation and configuration workbook; Collaborate with testers to verify and correct defects; Participate in key meetings with team members including daily standup meetings, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training as needed; Prepare and maintain a Salesforce training environment; Develop training materials and assist with the delivery of train-the-trainer sessions

 


You must have Salesforce Service Cloud Certification; Salesforce Admin Certification and a minimum of 3 years of experience configuring Salesforce applications in Salesforce Service Cloud as well as a minimum of 1 year of experience developing Salesforce training materials; Experience configuring Salesforce Service Cloud, Service Console and setting up profiles, permission sets, workflow and validation rules; Experience creating step-by-step training guides for Salesforce end-users; Experience training end user and train-the-trainer audiences on the Salesforce application built; Experience setting up a training environment in Salesforce; Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment; Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up on new clients, their business needs, and technologies; Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills; Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment; Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio

 

Bachelor’s degree required and must be a U.S. Citizen and must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer


Preferred Experience and Skills would be experience leveraging and configuring Salesforce AppExchange products to develop a solution; Experience with Lightening UI and Lightening Service Console Configuration; Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements; Experience documenting user stories and creating to-be process flow diagrams; Experience on a Salesforce implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); Experience on at least one Federal contract.
