One of the world’s premier law firms located in the Silicon Valley seeks a very rare individual to be a senior Docket Coordinator and report to one of the best IP administrators in the country. To be successful in this position you must bring your A game, think ahead, take initiative and want to grow in the IP Field.

You will be responsible for establishing and operating a patent and trademark practice management system (CPA InProtech) and to support the Intellectual Property prosecution practice.

Interacts/coordinates directly with the Senior Manager of IP Administration and the Information Technology department regarding any upgrades to department software systems. Develop and oversee processes and procedures in support of docketing, formalities, secretarial and file systems for the firm’s Intellectual Property prosecution practice. Develop and oversee processes and procedures to ensure accurate data input of deadlines and other relevant docket information in firm systems. Develop and oversee processes and procedures for data validation and review for accuracy of data (e.g., correctness of inventor names, filing dates, priority applications) and directs attention to errors requiring attention. Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have great tenure, 5-15 years of IP Docket experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, prior experience with applications in technology in support of patent and trademark prosecution practices preferred. Knowledge of CPA InProtech and/or PATTSY and other equivalent docketing software systems.

Compensation

This firm offers some of the most incredible benefits, 9-5:30 hours, $80,000-$100,000 with bonus, tremendous learning and growth.
