SharePoint Applications Generalist

compensation: up to $85,000 with paid over-time and bonus

35 hour work week, Tuition Aid and Training

Large international law firm seeks a SharePoint Applications Generalist (NOT A DEVELOPER) who will be responsible for supporting, administration and maintenance of all software applications with a special emphasis on development of and modifications to the SharePoint environment.

You will respond to all incoming requests for service or incident notifications for the firm’s software products. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user issues. Problem resolution may involve using diagnostic tools, contacting vendors and/or providing in-person, hands-on, or remote assistance at the user’s workstation. From time to time, the employee may be required to perform other duties or special projects as assigned by his/her supervisor or manager.

• SharePoint most important (REQUIRED)
• MS SQL desired and trainable
• IIS desired and trainable
• Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 TRAINABLE, but desired if strong SharePoint
• PowerShell desired and trainable
• Windows Server 2008/2012 desired and trainable
• Document Management Systems – preferably iManage desired and trainable
• Desktop Faxing desired and trainable
• Backup solutions desired and trainable
• Anti-virus solutions desired and trainable
• MDM — Mobile Device Management desired and trainable
• Mimecast desired and trainable
• Desktop imaging desired and trainable

Experience/Educational Requirements:
Minimum five years of experience working with software applications in a client facing role
Minimum three years of experience maintaining and developing SharePoint environments
Previous law firm experience preferred
Prior desk side support experience

You will be On-call availability as needed. Standard work week is 35 hours/week
Management may require work to be performed before or after business hours and weekends with little notice
