SharePoint Developer
Washington, DC

$100,000 - $140,000 and TENURE is a must. Please have at least 3 years in your current job.

Washington DC’s quintessential international law firm seeks a SharePoint Developer who builds and configures SharePoint websites using web UI and/or SharePoint Designer and follows best practices to develop solutions around the core concepts of business process management, collaboration, business intelligence and enterprise content management. A successful candidate will work with IT and business colleagues across the firm to deliver solutions to the firm in a reliable, timely, efficient, and cost effective manner. The SharePoint Developer is a member of the development team reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Applications.

Responsibilities:

- Partner in a hands-on manner with management, peers and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of business objectives.

- Assist in project development, define technical requirements and develop solutions.

- Design and customize SharePoint solutions.

- Plan and implement software version upgrade releases.

- Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint sites.

- Consult on SharePoint and Integration projects.

Requirements

Must Haves:

- A good understanding of C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, SQL Server, Web Services, security, instrumentation and exception handling.

- Strong knowledge and understanding in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007; SharePoint 2010 knowledge.

- Experience with InfoPath and Workflow design and development.

- Experience with Central Administration (search, Excel services, business data catalog, back-up, etc.) Solid SharePoint front end experience.

- Solid documentation experience.

- Understanding of application architecture, database and system design.

- Proficient using Microsoft Windows and Office; Understanding of Active Directory and Exchange

Please have:

- Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills.

- Successful experience working in a matrixed environment.

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, Microsoft SharePoint Certification, or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
