This stable and growing healthcare information management consulting firm located near Metro in Washington, DC. This small business is dedicated to improving health care programs through health information management, technology and program management, and strategic communications services seeks a senior SQL Database Specialist for their business.

The ideal candidate demonstrates expert problem-solving and data quality analysis skills. You must have a thorough understanding of data migration, data warehousing, and metadata management; expertise in SQL and relational data modeling.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree required. Health informatics preferred (i.e., a degree combining computer science and information science for the health care industry). Three to six years of work experience is required. Computer science/engineering degree combined with health care industry experience or HIM degree combined with solid technical database and analytical experience are also desirable. Demonstrates expert problem-solving and data quality analysis skills; thorough understanding of data migration, data warehousing, and metadata management. Please have expertise in SQL and relational data modeling.
