$90,000 - $130,000 with bonus!

This stable and growing woman owned healthcare information management consulting firm located near the U Street Metro seeks a Government (Veterans Administration) Contract Healthcare Proposal Writer for their business. The qualified candidate will have a proven track record and in-depth knowledge of healthcare and IT issues in the federal sector. You will coordinate, manage, write and edit proposals, and will also write and edit other technical documentation and deliverables.

Successful candidates must have a demonstrated track record of writing and producing successful proposals in response to federal and commercial RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualities:

Skills required are Exceptional writing skills, ability to coordinate input from several contributors and produce high-quality text in a short time frame, excellent communication skills, track record of producing winning proposals for federal healthcare agencies--Veterans Administration experience is particularly competitive, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, outstanding computer skills.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or Ten (10) years practical experience in a relevant field will waive educational requirements. Six (6) years of relevant experience and a degree is preferred.

Compensation

This small business is dedicated to improving health care programs through health information management, technology and program management, and strategic communications services. We offer a competitive salary ($90,000 - $130,000) and an outstanding benefits package, great bonus at holiday time and huge opportunities for advancement. 9-5:30 EOE.
