Wonderful stable Boutique legal practice near McPherson Square seeks a legal administrative assistant. They are looking for qualified candidates with enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and a desire to be an integral part of a team.  This position supports attorneys in the government contracting, business and commercial RE transactions practices.

You will assist with preparation of briefs, pleadings, RFPs, and other filings, send promotional materials to solicit new business, time entry, and lots of general administrative duties.  The position is crossed-trained to fill-in and support other practice groups as needed. The ideal candidate possesses superior organizational, proofing and editing skills.

You will collect, organize and maintain documents for production from various lines of business; work with attorneys to determine documents to produce. Draft and maintain general correspondence. Track, update and report status of certain incoming and pending items related to, litigation and regulatory guidelines and inquiries. Assist in the drafting and preparation of responses to regulatory and litigation related document productions and discovery requests.  Scan and upload document productions to shared data base.  Organize, and maintain files.  Maintain docket calendar, noting deadline dates for pleadings/motions/subpoenas and other important deadlines, and other general database entry. And provide general administrative support.

Please have a minimum 2-4 years in-house counsel or law firm corporate/commercial experience. You must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint (2013) as well as be able to handle and effectively prioritize a diverse workload and a variety of matters in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
