This forward-thinking law firm with multiple offices seeks a Business Development Coordinator.

Practices range from Banking and Finance, Corporate, Tax, Real Estate and Construction, Environmental & Energy, Government Contracts, Labor and Employment and IP law just to name a few.

As the Business Development Coordinator, you will have the exciting opportunity to utilize your prior marketing and business development expertise in a highly-visible role. You will work closely with the marketing and business development team to coordinate and carry out marketing and business development initiatives for specific practice groups and industry teams. This position will report to the Director of Business Development and work collaboratively with the Business Development Manager, and practice principals on key projects to ensure coordination and effective execution of initiatives.

You will serve as primary point of contact for assigned practice and industry teams, field and respond to internal marketing and business development requests for marketing materials and new business proposals, including coordinating pitches, RFP responses, and presentations; Assist with drafting and implementing practice and industry team business development plans; Compile and track practice matter experience in firm’s experience database; Collaborate with lawyers and events team to develop client seminars, webinars, programs, and similar activities and drive follow-up efforts to achieve positive results and calculate ROI; Monitor practice and industry trends, ROI on initiatives, and provide suggestions and adjustments to go-to-market strategy; Assist with annual Chambers & Partners submission process communications, timelines, etc.; Coordinate research projects with the Research and Information (RIC) on clients/prospects and industries in preparation for client meetings, in response to RFPs, and generally in targeting new business opportunities; Become familiar with and track relevant industry organizations to uncover business development opportunities, including developing speaking and authorship opportunities with professional and trade organizations and provide general support to Business Development Team on an as-needed basis.

Please have 4+ years of Business development, marketing and/or Communications experience in a professional services environment and a 2-4-year degree. Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, consistently delivering high quality results with a consistent attention to detail. You must always have a professional client service manner, responsiveness, flexibility, and adaptability to changing practices. Superior Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Interaction and Adobe InDesign (Preferred)
