Legal Secretary – Hybrid
Location: Downtown Cleveland, OH
Areas of Practice: Litigation, GIWC, International Dispute Resolution, Labor and Employment, IP, and Environmental.
The salary for a non-exempt position ranges from $55,000 to $85,000, depending on years of experience, education, certificates, and skills.
A hybrid work model of 2 remote days (M and T or Th and F) and 3 days onsite in the office.
8:30 am-5 pm or 9-5:30 M-F with up to 5 hours of paid overtime per week; it can be scheduled and last minute but can be done remotely

The firm seeks an experienced Legal Secretary to handle secretarial, administrative, and legal support for partners, associates, and paraprofessionals in Advocacy or Transactional Legal Practice Groups.
This is a highly confidential and sensitive job; you will deal with partners worldwide. Please have 3+ years of experience as a legal secretary in a law firm.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Heavy scheduling, calendaring, domestic and some international travel arrangements, handling the logistics and planning of conferences and client meetings
- Prepare expense and disbursement forms for reimbursement or payment
- Maintain assignment calendars
- Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and packages
- Answer telephones and relay messages appropriately.
- Prepare time sheets and review client bills.
- Maintain client and administrative files following firm procedures, including within the document management system
- Exceptional communication skills using email or other forms of correspondence
- Work with highly sensitive and confidential attorney compensation and packages
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma is required, and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- A minimum of 3+ years of legal secretarial experience in a law firm
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including converting, cleaning, and styling documents, table of contents, and authorities, is required.
- Expert knowledge of other software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with accounting and any legal accounting/billing software is desired
