Based on experience, education, and background, the firm will pay up to $65,000

Hybrid work model after training of 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.  The hours are 9 am-5:30 pm, M-F Rare overtime.  The firm believes in work–life balance and family.

During training, you will work onsite in Arlington, VA, 4-5 days a week, with a hybrid model option after training.

This Arlington-based law firm near the Ballston Metro seeks a junior Wills, Trusts, and Estates Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of WTE experience and client interaction.    

Responsibilities: 

You will work with estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, including reviewing and analyzing estate-planning documents and assisting clients with the process under the supervisor of the managing partner.

You will work in estate and trust administration in the jurisdictions of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, including reviewing the will/trust, analyzing it in light of the known financial and family situation, researching statutes and case law in those jurisdictions, and other legal documents necessary in administrations.

Clear, concise, and correct oral and written communication at an appropriate level to the situation and interaction with the client.

Requirements

2+ years of Wills, Trusts, and Estate law as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm

An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is desired but not required.

A paralegal certificate is preferred.

Someone who can work both independently and with a team

You must have outstanding attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You must be highly organized, computer literate, and a self-starter with a strong desire to support and facilitate a fast-paced practice with significant client contact.
