Litigation Lawyer (Associate)

4+ years’ experience in commercial litigation, commercial construction, or government contracts law is required.

 

9-5:30 and 5 days a week onsite.

 

Billable hours: Base: 1900 hours

Salary: $180,000-$220,000, plus the firm offers bonuses based on which billable hours tier is reached.

This highly-rated litigation, construction, and government contracts law firm listed in the TOP 50 firms in the US seeks a litigation associate attorney with a positive attitude and a can-do attitude to work in a fast-paced environment with commercial litigation, commercial construction, and/or government contracts experience.

 

The firm seeks a litigation associate with at least 4 years of experience to join their busy and dynamic Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have experience representing contractors on public and private projects in arbitration and litigation before state and federal courts and contract appeal boards. One of the most appealing parts of this job is the breadth of cases you get to work on. Some are tens of millions of dollars; others are just small claims. All of them are for multi-billion-dollar titans of the construction industry. You will also be part of the discovery team.

 

You must be admitted to the DC bar (or eligible to waive in from another state)

 

Maryland and/or Virginia admission is a plus.

 

At the time of resubmission to the firm, you will need to provide a redacted Motion, Brief, or other similar writing sample and your law school transcripts 3.5
