This three-time Inc. 500 award winning company looking for extraordinary technical, management, and subject matter experts to help continue to build a great company.  They are a Service-disabled, Veteran-owned Small Business professional services firm founded in December 2009.  They offer management consulting and information technology services across a wide spectrum of Federal Agencies.  They are based out of Fairfax County, Virginia and work in the National Capital Region and beyond.

 

Salesforce Quality Assurance Trainer and Tester key roles and responsibilities include:

The Salesforce Quality Assurance Lead will manage a small team of testers responsible for testing a couple of Salesforce applications, their data, security settings, and integrations. The Salesforce Quality Assurance Lead will need to work as member of a larger project team, participating in daily SCRUM meetings and Center of Excellence discussions.

 

You will develop and document a test strategy, test plan, test cases; Contribute to project schedule decisions, level of effort determinations and participate in daily SCRUM meetings; Lead a small team of a couple of testers, providing assignments, guidance and oversight; Develop efficient and accurate automated test scripts using Selenium/JMeter and manual test processes; Execute functional tests using tools such as Selenium/JMeter and manual procedures; Enter defects in JIRA; Ability to understand a logical data model, data migration plan and develop test cases against the plan; Work with different technical teams such as Development, Operations, & Architecture to discuss test results (both functional and performance) and troubleshoot issues. Represent the Testing Team in meetings with the Project Manager.

You must have a Bachelor’s degree, a US Citizen, the ability to travel up to 25% locally and within the US; 6+ years of related experience in manual & automated testing.  At least 3 years leading Quality Assurance teams of 2 or more people. Ability to write a Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Cases independently and to instruct team members in the creation and update to these documents. Hands on experience with Selenium, JMeter, JIRA and similar tools; Demonstrated past experience performing Data validation testing, 508 Compliance testing, Security testing, Integration testing, front-end and back-end testing; A high degree of skill in troubleshooting, characterizing, and describing software defects; Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly; Strong capabilities performing independently and as part of a cross-functional, team in a fast paced environment; Functional testing of Salesforce.com is a must. The ability to manage and prioritize assignments of a small team within an agile SCRUM development cycle.

Preferred Experience is Knowledge of Waterfall and SCRUM approach/methodologies highly desired; Salesforce Certifications is a bonus and prior work experience in the Federal government.
