Currently working remotely until September, there will be a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and two days working remotely.  This policy is subject to change based on safety protocols.

There is no billable hours requirement for paralegals.

As the Finance Paralegal, you will be responsible for preparing various documents/instruments: UCC forms/attachments, closing lists, corporate charters, LLC/partnership formation documents, corporate resolutions, officer certificates, etc.

You will participate in finance closings: create/update closing list, distribute documents/signature pages, draft closing certificates. Control of closing documents during a closing.   Post-closing assembly/distribution of closing documents & closing volumes

You will order/review/chart lien searches, order business entity documents from public offices (certified charter, good standing, etc.), file UCC & corporate/partnership organizational & other documents with state offices, and participate in & help manage due diligence projects. Coordinate/oversee the post-closing process

To be successful, you must have a Bachelor’s degree

Please have 1-20+ years of experience as a Finance Paralegal in a large law firm or financial institution.

Please have experience working with public/private financing, closing procedures, UCC (both preparation/filing of forms & lien searching), company/partnership formation & maintenance, and public document retrieval

Solid knowledge of MS Word 2016 and Excel 2016

Knowledge of CT Advantage.com other similar websites and systems for the preparation of UCC and corporate forms and public record sharing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Performance Traits: (i.e., analytical, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, etc.)
