MEMBERSHIP MANAGER – ASSOCIATION

Up to $90,000 with a 10% incentive bonus

This well run, stable and growing association located in Alexandria, VA with free parking seeks a membership Manager to manage the association’s iMIS database keeping it accurate, safe, and up to date; develop and manage reports, dashboards, and information necessary for data-based decisions; managing the production of the association’s Membership Directory; manage the interface between iMIS and other databases; and providing exceptional member service.

 

You will accurately manage the iMIS database as measured by email accuracy and interface with the accounting system on a weekly basis. Manage the interface of Association members to various third-party websites on a weekly basis. Manage the interface between the database and other software platforms used by the Association through management of third-party integrators. Play a leading role in Association decision making through data mining and membership reporting for decision making. Play a key role in maintaining a 92%-member retention rate or better through the management of the Association’s membership engagement scorecard. Provide excellent member service in responding to member requests and inquiries. Annually, working with Naylor, manage the production of the Association’s Membership Directory.

 

You should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; ability to read financial reports; ability to utilize human resource systems; and the ability to use association management software and customer relationship software.

a BA/BS is preferred and at least 5 years of membership management and supervisory experience.

You will directly supervise division heads. Carry out supervisory responsibilities, in accordance with the Employee Handbook, Board of Directors Policy Manual and Handbook, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing; supervising the training of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work in accordance with the association’s Strategic Plan; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.

You may be required to travel, including travel over weekends.

9-5:30, exempt position, up to $90,000 with a 10% incentive bonus and 100% paid benefits.
